Only The Best For Your Garage Floor

We prefer to take our time,
and do things the right way.
No one-day floors.
No skimping on product.
No shortcutting the prep work.

Many of our competitors will utilize a one-day flooring system, using either polyaspartic or polyurea for the base coat. There’s nothing inherently wrong with these products, but their use being applied directly to concrete is not what they were designed for. That’s epoxy’s specialty, that is what it was originally made for, and it’s why almost all commercial projects will use epoxy directly on concrete, not a polyaspartic/ urea. Competitors use these products mostly because they cure fast, allowing them to complete a floor in one day, saving greatly on labor costs.

We believe good things take time.

What They* Do

1 lbs/ sqft
Broadcast

6 mil
Topcoat

9 mil
Base coat

1. Thin 6 mil Topcoat

Skimping out where it matters the most, where the most wear will occur! They* do this because this is the most expensive part of the floor.

2. “Full” Broadcast

The light base coat allows for less flake to achieve a “full” broadcast, to rejection.

3. Thin 9 mil Polyurea/ aspartic basecoat

Polyaspartic works great as a top coat, but it’s subpar when used directly on concrete. Other companies* use it because it cures fast, allowing them to save labor by completing the job in 1 day.

What We Do

14 mil Topcoat

16 mil
Base coat

1.5lbs/ sqft
Broadcast

1. Thick 14 mil Topcoat

Having a thick topcoat sets your floor up for success, plus it makes the floor easier to clean!

2. Full Broadcast

The heavy base coat allows for a true Full Broadcast. We’ll use roughly 50% more flake compared to others.*

3. Thick 16mil Epoxy basecoat

Epoxy is superior as a basecoat in many ways, firstly by being better adhering directly to concrete. The slower cure time allows epoxy to penetrate further into the concrete, and it is significantly better at rejecting moisture from underneath.

*We benchmarked ourselves against 8 competitors operating in the Phoenix-Metro area, comparing their recommended flake full broadcast systems to our Premium Flake Full Broadcast system.
