Frequently Asked Questions
-
Concrete coatings are durable protective layers applied over concrete surfaces to improve appearance, strength, and resistance to wear, chemicals, and UV exposure. We offer systems like our Premium full broadcast flake, Industrial strength quartz, and solid (neat) finishes for garages, patios, driveways, restaurants, commercial buildings and more.
-
Most residential floors — such as garages, and patios, — can be completed in one-two days depending on the system selected, and size and condition of the concrete. Larger or more complex jobs may take 3-4 days.
-
We specialize in:
Full broadcast flake systems (decorative & slip-resistant)
Quartz broadcast systems (textured & industrial strength)
Solid color “neat” systems
Decorative metallic epoxy systems
-
Yes, they are completely UV-stable. We use aliphatic polyaspartic topcoats that are UV-stable and designed to never yellow, even in direct sunlight — perfect for garages, patios, and driveways.
-
When properly installed and maintained, our floor coating systems can last 20 years or more, depending on use. Our coatings resist hot tire pickup, staining, abrasions, and weather exposure.
-
We mechanically grind the surface using industrial diamond tooling to create the ideal profile (CSP 2–3) for long-term adhesion. We also repair minor cracks and spalls prior to coating.
-
Yes, we can repair most surface damage. Hairline cracks, minor pits, and surface spalling can be filled during prep. However, large structural cracks or heaving slabs may require additional repairs before coating. In some very extreme cases, new concrete may have to be poured before a coating can be installed.
-
Yes. For best adhesion, we always remove old coatings, paint, or sealers by grinding the surface clean. We do not coat over unknown or failing materials.

Full broadcast flake and quartz systems naturally have more grip to them, and should be able to resist slippage. For areas like pool decks, driveways, or shops, we can add grip additive to customize the grip level to match your needs.
